Contributions to Sanctuary in the Ordinary are fully tax deductible and can be designated for three funds: 1.  General Operation funds are used for administrative expenses which include everything from staff hours to interest on debt.  (SITO has no full time staff but uses the staff of its management company, Neighborhood Enterprises as needed.) 2. Tenant Relief provides limited assistance to tenants for utility bills, back rent, and necessary apartment items like beds, kitchen tables, and used furniture.  The assistance is to be used for tenants who are in short-term, crisis situations or who are first-time renters. 3.  Reserve Funds are used for capital improvements for buildings and apartments.  Every dollar donated to this fund helps us to keep the rents for our units within the reach of low-income tenants.
